Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Oct. 25

Ask your Grade 6 son/daughter about their Math Test - Factors and Multiples.

The "Gr. 5-8 Swimming Pool Carnival" permission form is now OVERDUE.

 Our 5/6ME class will be carving pumpkins tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 26) in support of the "Yorkton Pumpkin Walk.  Please bring appropriate carving tools for this FUN event.  Pumpkins will be provided, but students are still welcome to bring their own (which they can take home).

Music - Fantasia Test (Friday, Oct. 27)
Science 6 - SaskPower Decade Timeline (Thursday, Nov. 2)

Art - Term 1 Sketchbook (Wednesday, Nov. 15)

Reminders:
- The Pizza Hut hot lunch is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27.  YUMMY!
- Friday, Oct. 27 is also an "MC Knoll Spirit Day".  Wear your new MC Knoll clothing or MC Knoll school colors!
- There is an MC Knoll Halloween Dance on Friday, Oct. 27 from 7:00-9:30.  Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and dance the night away!
