Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - June 8

The June MC Knoll Newsletter was sent home today...

 There will be a city-wide school dance tomorrow (Thursday, June 9).  Tickets are $5 each and must be purchased before the dance.  The permission newsletter was sent home yesterday with specific information!

* ALL Term 3 assignments MUST be handed-in by Friday, June 17.  If students fail to meet this deadline, an incomplete assignment mark may be earned.

Math - 8.5 Cartesian Plane (Thursday, June 9)
Math - Cartesian Plane Mini-Unit TEST (Thursday, June 9)
ELA - ALL "Courage" Dialogical Unit Assignments (Wednesday, June 15)
Art - Term 3 Sketchbook (x8) (Thursday, June 16)
Science - Earth's Crust Inquiry-Based Project (Friday, June 17)

Reminders:
- Tomorrow (Thursday, June 9) is Pink Day (to raise awareness of bullying).
- Last day to "sign-out" Library items is tomorrow (Friday, June 10).  ALL library materials are due back to the library next Friday, June 17.
