Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - May 6

The rain did not come (when it was supposed to)!?!?!  As a result of us waiting, students did not participate in Adventure Ed. today.  We have rescheduled the activity for Friday, May 8.  Again, students should wear appropriate outdoor shoes and clothing.  In addition, students are welcome to bring around $5 if they want a tasty treat!!!

The following people have not handed-in their SAYCW survey permission forms:

Reminders:
- The annual GSSD outdoor track and field meet is scheduled for next Thursday, May 14.  Information, including event sign-up, was sent home yesterday.  The track and field form is due by tomorrow (Thursday, May 7).
- MC Knoll will be hosting the first ever "Spring Fling/Mini-Mall" on Saturday, May 9.  I hear there are some good Mother's Day ideas there!
