Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Mar. 8

Good luck to both the boys and girls basketball teams on their quest to victory in the Yorkton City Basketball Tournament.  Games are taking place mainly at MCK, St. Mike's and Gloria Hayden (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

The last day for P.A.A for grade 8 is tomorrow!

Reminders:
- Wednesday, Mar. 10 is the Dairy Queen 'hot lunch' (if you pre-ordered).
- Thursday, Mar. 11 is the next early dismissal (noon).
- Report cards are handed out Friday, Mar. 12!
- Parent-teacher interviews are going to take place Wednesday, Mar. 17 and Thursday, Mar. 18.  Contact the school ASAP if the appointed parent-teacher interview time is not convenient for you (a newsletter was sent home last week with the interview time).

Math 7 - 3.9 Worksheet (due Tuesday, Mar. 9)
Social - March "What in the World" (due Wednesday, Mar. 10)
LA - Sandwich Book Report (due Monday, Mar. 29)
