Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Jan. 5

Our 7M class were introduced to TypingClub.com - a free program that teaches students the lifelong skill of "how to use a computer keyboard" properly.   Ask your son/daughter about it...and maybe even challenge them to a typing competition or two!

Also, MC Knoll School officially launched the "One School, One Book Family Reading Program" today - where we encourage ALL families to read Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.  A free copy of the book and some information was sent home today with your son/daughter.  Happy Reading!

Math - Intro to Integers (Thursday, Jan. 6)
Music - Musicals Test (Friday, Jan. 7)

Reminders:
- With ALL of the snow that has arrived, be sure to dress appropriately for outdoor recess and our upcoming Adventure Ed. classes - winter jacket, mitts, touque, boots, etc.
