Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Nov. 10

Go Knights Go!  Good luck to all of our MC Knoll Volleyball teams - as they "play for gold" in the final day of the City-Wide Volleyball Tournament.

Ask your son/daughter about all of the Remembrance Day activities we were involved in this week!

Also, ask your son/daughter about today's Adventure Ed. - Curling!

Have a wonderful long-weekend!

Homework:
 - Read a good book!

Reminders:
- There will be NO SCHOOL Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12 (Remembrance Day Weekend).  YAHOO!
- With Term 1 officially "in the books", Term 1 Report Cards will be handed-out on Friday, Nov. 19.  
- Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 24 and Thursday, Nov. 25.  Conferences will take place using ZOOM.  Conference times have been scheduled and confirmation sheets will be sent home with the youngest in the family next week outlining the information.
