The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Sept. 29

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 30).  We invite all Knights to wear orange shirts to school in recognition of this day.  Also, families are encouraged to join some of our Indigenous guest speakers via Zoom. 

In addition, I encourage everyone to participate in the 2021 School Reconciliation Challenge:


Homework:
Social - Map of Canada (OVERDUE)
Science - Surtsey Questions Poster (Thursday, Sept. 30)
Art - Art Folders (Friday, Oct. 1)
ELA - September Writing Folder - x7 Paragraphs, x3 Terse Verse, and Sticky Story (Wednesday, Oct. 6)

Reminders:
- Please sign and return the October Adventure Ed. Permission Form by Friday, Oct. 1.
- Say, "cheese"!  MC Knoll Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 7.
- The Old Dutch Chip Fundraiser order forms and money are due back by Friday, Oct. 8.
