Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Feb. 11

Thank you to everyone who brought donations for Telemiracle 45.  Every "helping hand" helps!

Ask your Gr. 6 son/daughter about today's Math test - Probability.

Tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 12) will be our MC Knoll Valentines' Day celebration.  Our 5/6ME class will host our own classroom party - which will include some games (BINGO, Scattergories, and Kahoot) and a snack and short show.  Students can bring a healthy snack to enjoy for themselves.  We have also encouraged students to wear Valentines colors - PINK, RED, WHITE!  Fun times all around!

Homework:
Math 5 - Adding/Subtracting Decimals Practice (Friday, Feb. 12)
Math 5 - Adding/Subtracting Decimals TEST (Friday, Feb. 12)
Art - Term 2 Sketchbook and Sketchbook Statement (Friday, Feb. 26)

Reminders:
- There will be NO SCHOOL from February 13-21.  Students will return to school on Monday, February 22 (which is a Day 2).  YAHOO!
