Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Oct. 9

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend!

There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 12 (Thanksgiving). 

For those students who were absent today, check out the Google Classroom - Math 5, Social Studies 6, Career Ed. and ELA.

Homework:
Social 6 - World Map (OVERDUE)
Math 5 - 6.6 Multiplying Numbers Close to Ten (Tuesday, Oct. 13)
Social 5 - Canada #4, #5, #6 (Wednesday, Oct. 14)
Math 6 - Factor Booklet (Tuesday, Oct. 13)
Social 5 - Canada Quiz (Friday, Oct. 16)

Reminders:
- We have asked students to "monitor their own supply of hand sanitizer".  If they are running low on supplies, we have encouraged them to get a refill from home (rather than rely on the school's supply).  Thanks in advance!
- Also, "say cheese"!  Picture day is coming next week - Thursday, Oct. 15.  Bring your smile!
