Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Sept. 29

Ask your Grade 5 son/daughter about today's math test - place value (numbers up to one million)

Tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 30) is Orange Shirt Day. We ask that our Knights wear an article of orange clothing to support this worthy cause. 

The following students should login to Knowledge (sign-in through your Google account - @gssdschools.ca) and complete their "Kick-off Mission":

- For those students who are interested in joining the MC Knoll "Cross-Country" team, please return the form ASAP...
- Our 5/6ME students will be enjoying a presentation from the "Tornado Hunter" on Friday, Oct. 2 via Zoom.
