Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Nov. 19

A few important items were sent home yesterday:
- Our Gr. 5 students will be attending the "Rights of a Child" presentation at the SIGN Building tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 20).  Please return the permission form ASAP.
- Student-Parent-Teacher Interviews are scheduled for next Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Thursday, Nov. 28.  A letter was sent home with specific times.  If there are any concerns, please contact the school ASAP.
- Lastly, a delicious "Domino Pizza" hot lunch is set for Friday, Nov. 29.  If you are interested in ordering, please return the form and appropriate fees by Monday, Nov. 25.

Math 6 - Multiplication/Division of Decimals Pre-Test (OVERDUE)
Social 5 - Populations (Thursday, Nov. 21)
Social 6 - Canada's Atlantic Neighbours (Thursday, Nov. 21)
Dance - Just Dance Assignment (TBD)

Reminders:
- The "Good Taste" fundraiser is now OVERDUE...
- Term 1 Report Cards will be handed-out on Friday, Nov. 22.  YAHOO!
