Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 3

Our Gr. 6-8 students have the opportunity to participate in the annual GSSD Track and Field Meet on Wednesday, May 15.  A track and field form was sent home yesterday with specifics.  For those who are interested, please return the form by Tuesday, May 14.

Math - 4.1 and 8.1 Naming Angles (OVERDUE)
Career G. - Vacation Presentation (OVERDUE)
Math - 4.2 and 8.3 Estimating Angles (Monday, May 6)
Science - Flying Higher Webquest (Wednesday, May 8)

Reminders:
- For our upcoming "grid art" assignment, students will need to bring a picture from a magazine or calendar.
- As part of our "Geometry" unit in Math, students are encouraged to have their own geometry set (ie: compass, protractor, ruler, etc.).
