Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 14

Ask your son/daughter about today's Math test - Geometry.

If interested in cherishing the memories of this 2018-2019 school year, a Yearbook order form was sent home today.  Please return the form and $25 fee by Friday, May 24.

 Tomorrow (Wednesday, May 15) is the annual Grades 6 to 8 Outdoor Track and Field Meet.  However, rain is in the forecast.  In the event of our meet needing to be postponed to Thursday, May 16, a “Remind” message will be sent out before 8:00 am tomorrow.

Homework:
Art - Grid Art (Dinosaur/Sailboat) (Wednesday, May 15)
Health - Term 3 Goal (Wednesday, June 12)
Art - Term 3 Sketchbook (Wednesday, June 12)

Reminders:
- For our upcoming Phys. Ed. "softball" unit, students are encouraged to bring their own baseball glove.
- Also, for our upcoming "grid art" assignment, students will need to bring a picture from a magazine or calendar.
- There will be another delicious "bake sale" Friday, May 17.  YUMMY!
