Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Nov. 27

Our 6ME class is hoping to celebrate the Term 1 success by having a "Marble Jar" party tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, Nov. 28) from 12:45-3:30.  Students will be watching the movie "Holes" (as part of their ELA programming), playing board games, and learning Walleyball.  Students are welcome to bring a board game and/or some healthy snacks/drinks for the festivities - either for themselves or for the class.  Parents are also welcome to come and spend the afternoon with us!

Homework:
Math - 3.6 Dividing Decimals (Wednesday, Nov. 28)
Science - 3.1 Power Lines (Wednesday, Nov. 28)
Math - N6.4 Multiplying/Dividing Decimals TEST (Friday, Nov. 30)

Reminders:
- For those who ordered, the "In Good Taste" Fundraiser pickup is on Tuesday, December 4 from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m.
- The Gr. 6 Band students will be having a full band Christmas Concert practice Thursday, Nov. 29 from 12:30-2:00 at Yorkdale.  Transportation will be provided.
