Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - June 1

One more month to go!!

Math 5 - Millimeters and Estimating Lengths (x2) (Monday, June 4)
Math 6 - Angles TEST (Monday, June 4)
Drama - Drama Presentation (Monday, June 11)
Health - Term 3 Goal (Wednesday, June 13)
Art - Term 3 Sketchbook (x8) (Wednesday, June 13)
Dance - Just Dance (Friday, June 15)

Reminders:
- Students are encouraged to bring their baseball gloves and appropriate outdoor shoes for our upcoming "Slowpitch/Baseball" unit in Phys. Ed.
- The Gr. 4-5 Standards Track Meet is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5.
- The annual "Walk and Roll" to school day is Wednesday, June 6.  Students are encouraged to use active transportation to get to/from school.
- The BBQ Hot Lunch is Friday, June 8 (for those who pre-ordered).
