Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - April 11

Tomorrow (Thursday, April 12) will be "Jersey Day" - to show support for the Humboldt Broncos.

 FYI - Our 5/6ME class will be learning about "Growing and Changing" (ie: Puberty) during our upcoming Health classes.  The topics covered include the endocrine system, male/female reproductive systems, and heredity.  I encourage you to continue the conversations about these topics at home with your son/daughter.  

Homework:
Math 6 - 1.2 Patterns from Tables (Thursday, April 12)
Science 6 - Thrill of Flight Webquest (Monday, April 16)

Reminders:
- Our next MC Knoll Bake Sale is scheduled for Friday, April 13 (items are $0.50 each).
- Another delicious hot lunch is coming (compliments of Taco Time) on Friday, April 27.  Information will be sent home tomorrow and will need to be returned by Tuesday, April 17.  YUMMY!
