Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - March 14

Ask your Gr. 5 son/daughter about today's "Decimal/Fraction Relationship" Math Test...

 With Term 2 Report Cards coming soon (Friday, March 16), Term 2 Parent-Teacher Interviews will soon follow - Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22 to be exact.  An interview spot has been assigned and a newsletter was sent home today with specific information.  Please contact the school ASAP if the time/date do not work for you and your family.  Otherwise, I look forward to the conversations.

Homework:
Math 6 - Algebra Pre-Test (Thursday, March 15)
Science 5 - Manufactured Products Presentation (Thursday, March 15)
Science 6 - Solar Systems Open-Book Test (Thursday, March 15)
Art - Color Wheels (x4) (Friday, March 16)

Reminders:
- Grade 5/6 Yoga is tomorrow morning (Thursday, March 15) at 8:10 in the morning in the main gym.
- The Pita Pit hot lunch is set for Friday, March 16.  YUMMY!
