Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - March 1

Welcome to March!

 A Sarcan field trip newsletter was sent home today.  Please sign and return the form ASAP.  The field trip is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13.

The Term 2 Report Cards will be handed-out on Friday, March 16.  As a result, ALL Term 2 assignment will be due Wednesday, March 7.  Those students who fail to meet this deadline may receive an IE on their Term 2 Report Cards.

Health - Term 2 Health Goal (OVERDUE)
Art - Term 2 Sketchbook (x6 sketches) (OVERDUE)
Math 5 - Fractions/Decimals (x2) (Friday, March 2)
Math 6 - Equivalent Ratio's (x2) (Friday, March 2)
Social 6 - Cultures and Traditions Activities/Q's (Friday, March 2)
Math 6 - Ratios Unit TEST (Monday, March 5)

Reminders:
- We are collecting donations for the annual Telemiracle.  Please be generous.
- Another delicious hot lunch is coming (Friday, March 16) compliments of "Pita Pit".  If interested in ordering, please return the form and fees by tomorrow (Friday, March 2).  YUMMY!
- Also, Yearbook orders were sent home yesterday.  If interested in treasuring the memories of this 2017-2018 school year, please return the form and $25.00 by Monday, March 5.
