Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Feb. 7

Two other newsletters were sent home today, including:
- Hoop Skool Mini-Basketball Program Pamphlet - if interested, please return the form and $25 by Friday, Feb. 16.
- MC Knoll "Valentine's Day" Carnival Newsletter - $0.25 tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 12 and Tuesday, Feb. 13.

 Also, don't forget about the Gr. 5-8 Asessippi Ski Trip (scheduled for Monday, March 12).  Please read over the package and return the form and fees by Friday, Feb. 9.

Reminders:
- There is another YUMMY bake sale Friday, Feb. 9 ($0.50/item)
- There is also a Valentine's Day MC Knoll Dance scheduled for Friday, Feb. 9 from 7:00 - 9:30.  Bring your dancing shoes!
- Speaking of Valentine's Day, our Gr. 7-8 students will be selling "Candy Grams" this week for $0.50 each.  Send one (or more) to all of those "special" people in the school!
