Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Oct. 20

Remember, if you ordered from the "Old Dutch Chip Fundraiser", the chip pickup date is today (Friday, Oct. 20) from 4:00 - 6:00.

 A permission form was sent home today for the Tuesday, Oct. 31 "Gr. 5-8 Swimming Pool Carnival".  Please sign and return the form by Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Reminders:
- If interested in ordering school pictures, please complete the appropriate information by Monday, Oct. 23.
- Shaun Boothe, a motivational speaker is coming to MC Knoll on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 10:00.  Come on out and get "inspired"!
- Our 5/6ME class will be carving pumpkins on Thursday, Oct. 26 (pumpkins for the "Yorkton Pumpkin Walk.  Please bring appropriate carving tools for this FUN event (pumpkins will be provided).
- The Pizza Hut hot lunch is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27.  YUMMY!
- There is an MC Knoll Halloween Dance on Friday, Oct. 27 from 7:00-9:30.  Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and dance the night away!
