Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Sept. 27

Our Terry Fox Walk will be tomorrow (Thursday, September 28th) at 1:30. We will also be having Red and White day that day. Dress up in red and white, bring a "Toonie for Terry", and join us for this important event.

Reminders:
-The "Urban School Bus Registration Form" is now OVERDUE.
- On Friday, Sept. 29 wear an Orange shirt as part of Orange Shirt Day. This day is used to draw attention to the legacy of residential schools. On Orange Shirt Day we recognize that every child matters.
- If you haven't bought your Halloween treats yet, please consider buying from the SCC "Old Dutch Chip" Fundraiser.  Forms and money are due back by Tuesday, Oct. 3.
