Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Sept. 14

There is an MC Knoll "Open House" tonight from 5:30-7:00.  Come on out to enjoy some good company!  The SCC will also be selling some delicious hotdogs - so bring an appetite too!

 School photos are coming (Monday, Sept. 25 to be exact)!  Some information was sent home today.

 Also, some VERY important "Immunization" was sent home today to Gr. 6 students.  Please sign and return the forms by tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 15)

Great job to the Cross-Country athletes at today's "smoky" Cherrydale Meet!

Reminders:
- Mrs. Erhardt has asked students to purchase a "writer's notebook" - to start collecting ideas for the writing and other school work.  
- If you are looking for something to do this Friday, Sept. 15, the YRHS football team is playing under the "Friday Night Lights" (game start 7:00).  Students were given "FREE" tickets to the game!
