Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 5

The SURVIVOR "day" activities were great!  

 The SURVIVOR "night" activities are going to be AWESOME!

Homework:
ELA - Courage Research Poster (Monday, May 8)
ELA - ALL Book Club Readings/Question/Portfolio (Friday, June 9)
Science - Earth's Crust Inquiry Project (TBD)

Reminders:
- Students will once again need a bike and helmet for the Tuesday, May 9 Adventure Ed. class - biking to the Nature Trail!
- The annual GSSD Track and Field Meet is scheduled for Friday, May 12.  A full day of running, jumping, and throwing!
There is also an optional "Solestice Track Meet" on Saturday, May 13 at the YRHS.  More information can be found at www.solesticeclassic.com
