Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - April 7

Good job to everyone who participated in "Autism Awareness Day" today.  

 The following people need to return the Science Tour ("Power of Ideas") permission form:

Art - Classroom Grid Art (OVERDUE)
Math - 5.6 Area of Circles (Monday, April 10)
ELA - Visual Representation or 5-Paragraph Essay (Tuesday, April 11)
Math - Measurement Unit TEST (Wednesday, April 12)

Reminders:
- Our Grade 7 students will be enjoying the Science "Power of Ideas" tour on Tuesday, April 11 at the YRHS from 12:30-2:45ish.
- The annual Yorkton City Badminton Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12 from 4:00-7:30.  Come on out and cheer on our MC Knoll athletes!
- Thursday, April 13 is "Mental Health Awareness Day".  All MC Knoll students will be learning about mental health issues.
- The EASTER BREAK is scheduled for Friday, April 14 to Sunday, April 23.  YAHOO!
