Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - April 12

Ask your son/daughter about today's Math "Measurement" Test...

 Good luck to the MCK badminton athletes at tonight's Yorkton City Badminton Tournament - scheduled from 4:00-7:30.  Come on out and cheer on our athletes!

 Tomorrow (Thursday, April 13) is "Mental Health Awareness Day".  All MC Knoll students will be learning about mental health issues.

 After the Easter Break, we will be starting a new ELA Book Club Reading Unit.  A newsletter was sent home earlier this week.  The form should be signed and returned by tomorrow (Thursday, April 13).

Homework:
Math - Combined Area of Shapes (OVERDUE)
ELA - Visual Representation or 5-Paragraph Essay (OVERDUE)
Science - Rocks and Minerals Webquest (Thursday, April 13)
Health - Puberty Unit TEST (Thursday, April 13)

Reminders:
- Gr. 3 students are selling raffle tickets (as part of cancer awareness) for $1 each.  The last day to bring a donation for the worthy cause is tomorrow (Thursday, April 13).
- The EASTER BREAK is scheduled for Friday, April 14 to Sunday, April 23.  YAHOO!
