Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Feb. 28

There goes another month!?!?!

 Good luck to the girls basketball team at the YESSA City Basketball Tournament!

There were x3 items sent home yesterday:
1. March Adventure Ed. Permission Form - due Wednesday, March 1.
2. Domino's Pizza Hot Lunch - due Friday, March 3.
3. Dental Sealant Consent Form - due Friday, March 3.

The official "last day of Term 2" is tomorrow (Wednesday, March 1).  As I reminded students, this will be the last day to hand-in any upcoming and OVERDUE Term 2 assignments.  Those students who fail to meet this deadline may earn an "IE" (Insufficient Evidence) on their Term 2 Report Card.

Homework:
Art - Term 2 Sketchbook (OVERDUE)
Health - Term 2 Health Goal (OVERDUE)
Math - 1.5 Table of Values (Wednesday, March 1)

Reminders:
- For the next Adventure Ed. class tomorrow (Wednesday, March 1), students will be back to Deer Park for one last chance at "cross-country skiing" and "snowshoeing".  YAHOO!
- It is close to that time of the year again - Telemiracle!  Please be thoughtful and considerate by providing a donation to this worthy cause by tomorrow (Wednesday, March 1).
