Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Sept. 15

Great job to all of the Cross-Country athletes who ran at the Cherrdale Meet!

 There will be an "MC Knoll Spirit Day" tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 16).  Students are encouraged to wear MC Knoll clothing and/or colors (teal, white, silver, black).

The following people need to return the OVERDUE Sept. Adventure Ed. Permission Form:

There were x3 items sent home yesterday, including:
- SCC "Old Dutch Chip" Fundraiser Form (due Wednesday, Sept. 28)
- Yorkton Debate Academy Newsletter
- GSSD Choir Newsletter

Homework:
Math - 1.4 Divisibility by 4 and 8 (Friday, Sept. 16)
Math - Divisibility Rules Quiz (Friday, Sept. 16)
ELA - Sept. Writing Folder (Paragraphs, Terse Verse, Sticky Story) (Wednesday, Oct. 5)

Reminders:
- Students are encouraged to collect donations for the Terry Fox Fundraiser (minimum $2 - "a toonie for Terry").  Pledge forms and donations are due by Monday, Sept. 26.

* The following person has late items to hand-in:
