Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - June 17

Ask your son/daughter about their leadership during the K-3 "Play Day".  They did an AWESOME job!

A newsletter about our "year-end activities" was sent home yesterday.  Please read the form and return the appropriate fees (if applicable) by Tuesday, June 21.  Students will be golfing (and enjoying an optional lunch) at Cherrydale Friday, June 24.

* ALL Term 3 assignments are now OVERDUE!  Those students who failed to meet the deadline, an incomplete assignment mark may have been earned.

Health - Mental/Emotional Health Poster (OVERDUE)

Science - Earth's Crust Inquiry-Based Project (OVERDUE)
Social - Unit TEST (Friday, June 24)

Reminders:
- ALL library items are now OVERDUE!
- Continue to prepare for the ELA and Math Final Exams (scheduled for Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23).
- Students will have the their last PAA class on Thursday, June 23.
- 7M and 2B students will enjoy a "buddy time" celebration on Thursday, June 23
