Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - June 1

ONE MONTH TO GO!!

 Great job to everyone who participated in the annual "Walk and Roll" event.  Keep up the active lifestyle until the end of the school year!

 Any students interested in cherishing this year's memories, yearbook orders are now OVERDUE.

 The last Band Concert of the year is scheduled for tonight at the YRHS.  Good luck!

 The June Adventure Ed. Permission Form was sent home earlier this week.  Please sign and return the permission form by Friday, June 3.  Activities for the month of June include tennis, canoe safety and golfing.

The June "City of Yorkton" Newsletter was sent home today.

 Homework:
Math - 4.7 Circle Graphs (OVERDUE)
Math - Circle Graph TEST (Thursday, June 2)
ELA - ALL "Courage" Dialogical Unit Assignments (Wednesday, June 15)
Art - Term 3 Sketchbook (x8) (Thursday, June 16)

Reminders:
- The BBQ hot lunch is scheduled for Friday, June 3 (for those people who pre-ordered).
- The next Adventure Ed. is set for Friday, June 3.  Students must bring a bike and helmet (tennis equipment is optional as it will be provided).
- Friday, June 3 is "70's Dress-Up Day".
