Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 16

Happy Monday!

 Ask your son/daughter about today's Adventure Ed. - biking to the Yorkton Nature Trail!

Two items were sent home last week:
- "Courage" Book Club Parental Consent Letter (please sign and return ASAP as it is now OVERDUE)
- BBQ Hot Lunch Order Form (please return by Wednesday, May 18...if interested; the actual lunch is scheduled for Friday, June 3).  

Homework:
Math - 11.1 Interpreting Circle Graphs (Tuesday, May 17)
Science - Rocks and Minerals Webquest (Wednesday, May 18)
Art - Creative Pointillism (Thursday, May 19)

Reminders:
- The GSSD Track & Field Meet has been rescheduled to Friday, May 20.
- There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day) and Tuesday, May 24 (School PD).  YAHOO!
