Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Jan. 27

Ask your son/daughter about today's fun with "Literacy Day", including:
    - Author Reading (Mary Bishop will was here)
    - Eat, Read and Run (Pita Pit Lunch)
    - Family Book Trivia (return the trivia form by Monday, Feb. 1)

Homework:
Math - 7.1 & 7.2 (Substituting/Algebra Language) (Thursday, Jan. 28)
Art - Color Interpretation (Thursday, Jan. 28)
ELA - Small Group Reading #1 (Monday, Feb. 1)
ELA - Book Talk (Monday, Feb. 8)
ELA - Picture Book (Friday, Feb. 26)

Reminders:
- Information from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health about the "Dental Sealant Program" was sent home last week.  Please review the extensive package and return the consent form by tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 28) (including if you do or do not want your son/daughter to receive the sealant).
- There will be NO SCHOOL Friday, Jan. 29 (school in-service).
