Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Nov. 18

WOW!!  The weather today sure moved in fast?!?!?  I think winter is here to stay.

Due to the crazy weather, all school buses have been cancelled today - hopefully everyone finds a safe route home.  Stay tuned to the radio tomorrow for additional cancellations.

Also, the annual City-Wide Volleyball tournament has been postponed to a later date.

Ask your son/daughter about today's math percentage test.

* All upcoming and OVERDUE Term 1 assignments are now OVERDUE.  Those students who failed to hand-in their assignments may not receive their Term 1 Report Card until the assignments are completed.

Homework:
ELA - Nov./Dec. Writing Folder (Monday, Dec. 14)

Reminders:
- Term 1 Report Cards will be handed-out Friday, Nov. 20.
- Some very important information was sent home earlier this week about parent-teacher-student conferences scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 25 and Thursday, Nov. 26.  If the appointed times do not work, please do not hesitate to contact the school and/or me directly.
