Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Sept. 4

Thanks to everyone who came out and attended the MC Knoll Open House last night.

Ask your son/daughter about their first P.A.A. experience!

 I have reminded the class that I am scheduled for a knee scope on Wednesday, Sept. 9 - with an expected recovery time of two weeks.  Therefore, I am expecting to be out of the building from Wednesday, Sept. 9 until Friday, Sept. 18 (could be earlier or later).  Mrs. Wonsiak will be the students substitute teacher.

Have a wonderful long-weekend (as there is NO SCHOOL Monday, Sept. 7).  YAHOO!

Homework:
Math - 1.1 Divisibility by 2, 5, 10 (Tuesday, Sept. 8)
Science - Scientist Wanted Posters (Friday, Sept. 11)
ELA - Sept. Writing Folder (Friday, Oct. 2)

Reminders:
- There has been a schedule change to the student's timetables.  Refer to the updated timetable at the bottom of the blog.
- The following forms are now OVERDUE: 
        - Classroom Guidelines and Expectations sheet (yellow) 
        - Classroom Blog sheet (purple)
        - Adventure Ed. form and $30 fee (white)
- Please sign & return the following forms by Tuesday, Sept. 8:
        - Student Registration Form (white)
        - Noon Hour Permission Form (pink)
