Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Dec. 10

We will be attending the "Grand Slam of Curling" at the Gallagher Center tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 11) from 11:00 - 1:30 - as part of our Adventure Ed. program.  Students will need to bring a lunch as we will be entertained during the lunch hour.  Also, students should wear either MC Knoll clothing or anything bright - as the curling matches that we will be watching are going to be televised nationally on Sportnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific!!!  

 Are you still feeling hungry?  A set of "Domino's Pizza" coupons were sent home today!

 Also, some exciting Christmas events are happening next week!  Information was sent home today...

- The MC Knoll band students have a band concert tonight at the YRHS at 7:00 p.m.  Come on out and show your support!
- The annual MC Knoll Christmas Concert is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18.  There will be 2 showings - 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
