Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - March 11

Happy Tuesday (as I was away from the school yesterday - sorry for the "no post")!

As Term 2 is coming to an end, ALL assignments (upcoming and OVERDUE) must be handed-in by Monday, March 17.  Any late assignments may earn a mark of 0%.

Ask your son/daughter about today's Adventure Ed. class - cross-country skiing.

Reminders
- Our "We Act" group is asking for students to collect any old phonebooks.  For every phonebook collected, donations will be given to help build the school in Haiti.
- If interested in ordering from the Scholastic Book Orders, the forms and appropriate money is due by Thursday, March 13.
- Also, any girls interested in receiving some extra basketball experience, a "First Step Basketball" pamphlet was sent home last week.  If you are interested, please return the form and $25 by Thursday, March 13.
- There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 14 (school in-service)
