Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Feb. 10

Great job to everyone who "survived" Survivor!  It was an awesome event...

Don't forget, tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 11) is the annual MC Knoll Ski/Snowboard Trip to Asessippi.  Students should be at the school no later than 7:30 a.m. and plan to return to the school around 4:30 p.m.  Be prepared by bringing the necessary outdoor items and food for a great day of FUN and Phys. Ed.

Ask your son/daughter about the "100 Day Celebration" with our 1B buddies...

Reminders
- Thursday, Feb. 13 is the next 2:30 p.m. early dismissal.
- A "Dental Screening" form from the Sunrise Health Region was sent home last week. If you are interested in your son/daughter participating in this program, please return the information form by Friday, Feb. 14.
- There will be NO SCHOOL from Feb. 15 - Feb. 23 (February Break).
