The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Jan. 6

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had an amazing Winter Break.  It seems that everyone is re-energized to tackle the 2014 year.

Come on out and join us at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 7) for a "mug and muffin" to help our school kick-off the "One School...One Book" campaign.  Some information was sent home today.

Reminders
- Thursday, January 9 is another 2:30 p.m. early dismissal.

Our WE ACT Club has chosen to participate in the Free the Children "Brick by Brick" program. We are asking students to donate any spare change they have to support this cause. Also, the WE ACT Club will be selling bracelets throughout the year for $2.00. Their goal is to raise $10 000 by the end of the year - which will build a school in Haiti.
