Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 13

Happy Monday!

Sorry for the missing blog entries last week - I was away from school the last few days.

Ask your son/daughter about math problem solving...

Also, ask your son/daughter about their Measurement Math test.

A couple of important items were handed-out last week including:
- Pita Pit Lunch forms are due tomorrow (Tuesday, May 14) with the actual lunch happening on Friday, May 24.
- Get your dancing shoes on.  There will be a city-wide school dance on Thursday, May 30 from 7:00 - 10:00.  Tickets are $7 each.  I will be selling them until Friday, May 24.

LA - "Know Yourself..." Questions and Activities (Tuesday, May 14)
Science - Big Idea 3 Quiz (Thursday, May 16)
LA - Writing Folder (Thursday, May 16)

Reminders
- The annual Yorkton Outdoor Track and Field Meet is Wednesday, May 15.  Be sure to prepare for an entire day of being outdoors running, jumping and throwing!
