Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Nov. 23

Ask your son/daughter about the great "Violence Awareness Conference" at Dr. Brass.

Be sure to congratulate your son/daughter on a great Term 1 Report Card.  Keep up the great work in Term 2.  You can keep the report card for your records, however please return the report card envelope by Friday, Nov. 30.

Also, a newsletter was sent home today about a great fundraiser the MC Knoll basketball teams are doing for breast cancer.  

Parent-Teacher Interviews are scheduled for next week - Wednesday, Nov. 28 and Thursday, Nov. 29. Your son/daughter is encouraged to come to the meeting to discuss Term 1 and set goals for Term 2. If your designated interview time is inconvenient or you are unaware of your interview time, please contact the school ASAP.

Reminders
- "Good Taste" Fundraiser forms are due by Thursday, Nov. 29. The actual date to pick-up the orders is not until Thursday, Dec. 13.
