Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Nov. 14

Good luck to all of the volleyball teams at the City Volleyball Tournament.  GO KNIGHTS GO!

ALL Term 1 marks are due by Monday, Nov. 19 (with Term 1 Report Cards being handed-out on Friday, Nov. 23). As a result, ALL Term 1 assignments (upcoming and overdue) must be handed-in by this date. Otherwise a mark of 0% may be earned for each assignment.

Homework
LA - PowerPoint Book Report (OVERDUE)
Health - "My Food Guide Journal" (OVERDUE)
Social - Write on the Blog (Friday, Nov. 16)
Math - Percent Unit Test (Friday, Nov. 16)

Reminders
- Subway Lunch forms are OVERDUE. The actual lunch will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
- Grade 7 students are responsible for the next "bake sale" on Friday, Nov. 16.   Items will be sold for $0.50 each.
- The MC Knoll SRC is looking for donations for "Operation Christmas Child".  Donations are due by Friday, Nov. 16.
- If interested in ordering from the "Scholastic Book Orders", please return the form and fees by Friday, Nov. 23.
- "Good Taste" Fundraiser forms are due by Thursday, Nov. 29. The actual date to pick-up the orders is not until Thursday, Dec. 13.
