Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Oct. 5

In recognition of World Food Day, our school has decided to participate in the "FCC Drive Away Hunger" program by collecting food item donations for the Soup Haven.  If you would like to donate any non-perishable food items, please send them along with your son/daughter sometime before Friday, Oct. 12.

Also, if your son/daughter hasn't told you yet, some students in 7M now have their very own blog. You can get to by clicking on the "7M Student Blog" link on the right side of this blog or simply go to http://kidblog.org/7MClassroomBlog/.

- The new date for "Picture Day" is Thursday, Oct. 11.
