Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - June 4

Happy Monday!

Ask your son/daughter about today's Adventure Ed. class.  Their feet should be sore from all of the 'moves' they were busting-out.

Two items were sent home today - the June Yorkton Activity Newsletter as well some information about the Saskatchewan Games.

Reminders:
- The Grade 5 Science Fair is tomorrow (Tuesday, June 5)
- Wednesday, June 6 is the annual "Walk and Roll" to school. Active transportation to and from school is encouraged.
- We will have some special visitors from the YRHS Science class coming to our building Thursday, June 7.
- Friday, June 8 will by the MC Knoll "Mini-Mall". Bring any spare change you have to spend on the inventive items (prices range from $0.25 to $3.00)
- The hot dog lunch will also be on Friday, June 8.
- Friday, June 15 (at 12:30) is the Grade 7 "audition" day for the MC Knoll Talent Show.
- If you are interested in ordering the MC Knoll School 2011-2012 Yearbook, form and $20 fee are due by June 15.
