Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Nov. 15

As always, I hope the 'extra' long-weekend was enjoyable.

It is worth noting that as the term 1 report cards are coming soon (Friday, Nov. 25 to be exact), ALL term 1 assignments will be due this Friday, Nov. 18. Any overdue assignments handed-in passed Friday, Nov. 18, will earn a mark of 0%.

Come on out and cheer on our MC Knoll volleyball teams to victory at the Yorkton city-wide championships today (Tuesday, Nov. 15) and tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 16) - games take place a MC Knoll, St. Mikes and the Gloria Hayden.

Reminders:
- If you are interested in ordering from the November/December Scholastic book order, please return the form(s) and appropriate fees by Tuesday, Nov. 29.
- Grade 7 students will be going to Dr. Brass on Friday, Nov. 18 for a "Violence Awareness Conference".  Lunch will be provided.
