Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - May 2

Welcome back! I hope the break was relaxing...

I can't believe it is May already. Why is there still snow???

The May newsletter was sent home today. 

Also, the annual Spelling Bee (for grade 7) is this Wednesday, May 4.  Some information was sent home today to 'prepare' for this.  Keep in mind, this is intended to be a "fun" event for everyone in our MC Knoll building.

Lastly, the annual Outdoor Track and Field Meet is next Wednesday, May 11.  Students MUST fill out the registration form that was sent home today and return it by Wednesday, May 4.

Reminders:
- The MC Knoll "Spelling Bee" is Wednesday, May 4 from 1:00 - 2:10.
- Harvest Meats orders are due Monday, May 9.
- Outdoor Track and Field Meet is Wednesday, May 11.
- The next noon hour early dismissal is Thursday, May 12.

Homework:
Art - "Your Picture" Pointillism Art (OVERDUE)
Math - Intro to Statistics Worksheet (Tuesday, May 3)
