Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - May 1

May is here! May is here!

The May newsletter was sent home today.

Also, East Central Track and Field forms were handed out today (the meet is Tuesday, May 12) Please ensure that your son/daughter signs-up to a minimum of 3 events and a maximum of 6 events. These forms are due Monday, May 4.

Reminders:
- Hershey Track and Field forms are due Monday, May 4 (the actual meet is Saturday, May 9)
- Harvest Meats fundraiser forms are to be handed back to the school by Friday, May 8. Remember, fundraisers such as this allow M.C. Knoll students to participate in a lot of FUN activities throughout the year. Do your part so we can continue to have FUN!
- Yearbook forms are also due by Friday, May 8. Please ensure that the correct amount of money/cheque is provided with the form.

For Homework:
Math 6 - Page 253 #1-34 (mult. by 10, 100, 1000) (due Monday, May 4)
Math 7 - Section 6.4, page 256 #1-6 and 6.4 Worksheet (integer addition strategies) (due Monday, May 4)
Career Guidance 7 - "What are the Alternatives" Worksheet (due Tuesday, May 5)
