Classroom News - Oct. 8

Some EXCITING news to pass along this cold Wednesday:

I am very pleased to announce that our 6/7M classroom has officially been given a SmartBoard. It was installed yesterday and is fully operational. This is an extremely useful tool that will make learning that much more fun. Ask your son/daughter about it...

In addition to the field trip to Melville, Grade 7 will also attend a field trip to Regina's MacKenzie Art Gallery on Thursday, October 30. This will be a whole-day affair. Please refer to the new newsletter that I sent home today with your son/daughter about this field trip.

For Homework:
English 6 - Lesson #5 and #6 (due Thursday, Oct. 9)
Career Guidance 7 - Personal Inventory (due Thursday, Oct. 9)
Math 7 - Unit Test (decimals: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, order of operation) (Friday, Oct. 10)
Art - Art folders (due Friday, Oct. 10)
Language Arts - Island of the Blue Dolphins questions and definitions: Chapters 1-4 (due Tuesday, Oct. 14)
