Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Oct. 30

Just a reminder about the day tomorrow:

Grade 7 students are off in the a.m. to Yorkdale for Practical and Applied Arts . Grade 6 are with me at M.C. Knoll. Immediately after lunch, their will be a school-wide Halloween parade in the gymnasium. At the conclusion of the parade, Grade 7 students will walk over to St. Mike's for the "sock hop". Grade 6 will be with me enjoying a snack and movie. Grade 6 students are encouraged to bring food/drink to the festivities.

For Homework:
Math 7 - Corn Maze Activity - Percents (overdue Thursday, Oct. 30)
Social Studies - "What in the World" activity sheets x3 (overdue Thursday, Oct. 30)
LA - Island of the Blue Dolphins Chapters 5-8 questions: #1-15 (overdue Thursday, Oct. 30)
LA 6 - "The Young Maple Tree" questions and definitions (due Friday, Oct. 31)
